Japanese automotive marketplace Autoc-One has rebranded itself as ‘Mota’ to introduce a factor of trading and build long-term relationship with customers through promoting post-purchase services.

Founded in Jun. 1999, Autoc-One allows trading of local and imported used-cars and facilitates searches from approximately 300,000 listings, based on types, locations, price range, and conditions. Its app Ullo is a free car value assessment tool. It presents up to 10 price quotes from its dealers network to help sellers make selling decision.

There will, however, be no change in the company name. The domain name will be changed in the future.

In Jun., Autoc-One saw 4.5 million visitors on desktop and mobile web, according to SimilarWeb.com. Used-car marketplace CarSensor.net of Recruit Holdings saw 18.1 million traffic during the last month compared with Goo-Net.com (15m) and Carview.Yahoo.co.jp (14.6m).
