Japanese job sites’ operator MyNavi Corp. has signed a cooperative agreement with a state administration on securing and fostering agricultural human resources.

It was the first time that MyNavi engaged with a prefecture administration to connect job-seekers with employers in agriculture and livestock sector. Under the collaboration, human resource development services, including training, will be provided to job candidates.

With this initiative, MyNavi is likely to get a competitive edge over its rivals, like Recruit Holdings, DIP Corp., Persol Holdings, and CareerIndex.jp, which are yet to introduce media dedicated to agriculture sector.

Tokyo-headquartered MyNavi was established in Aug. 1973. The company owns and manages a job site for pharmacists at Pharma.MyNavi.jp and Kango.MyNavi.jp to connect nurses with employers. It also operates a career-change site at Tenshoku.MyNavi.jp, a temporary dispatch service at Staff.MyNavi.jp, a part-time job site at Baito.MyNavi.jp, a job site for the manufacturing industry at MyNavi-Seizo.jp and Athlete-Career.MyNavi.jp to connect athletes with sports businesses. The group also owns and operates a real estate platform at Chintai.MyNavi.jp.
