European vehicle remarketing company BCA is expanding its auction services by introducing a new premium category. The new “gold selection” is now available to buyers during LiveBid auctions.

The new product segment allows potential buyers to bid selectively on higher-priced cars from premium manufacturers that include brands like BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and sporty exotics like Ferrari.

“With the introduction of the new product segment, we are actively serving the needs of our customers and making our extensive marketplace offer more distinct,” sales director at BCA Germany Andreas Bank said. “This means that our customers will get faster and easier access to corresponding low-mileage, used cars from premium manufacturers. In this way, they can make their search as well as the purchase of these vehicles more efficient.”

The gold selection will only list “young” used cars with low mileage and a starting price of €25,000 ($28,000 U.S.).

BCA is part of BCA Marketplace plc, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange. The company sells more than one million vehicles annually and operates one of Europe’s largest vehicle remarketing businesses.

With a presence in 10 countries, BCA manages used car sales at more than 50 centers. The company has been active in Germany since the late 1990s. It now sells more than 120,000 vehicles a year.
