Applicant tracking system HRTech has entered into an application programming interface (API) cooperation with cloud-based software company SmartHr to improve performance appraisal systems. HRTech is operated by career-change site Rikunabi.com, which is owned by Recruit Holdings.

Employee data managed on SmartHr can now be smoothly transferred to Rikunabi’s evaluation management cloud, which centrally manages personnel evaluation information. The system is offered free of charge to recruiters and companies.  HRTech has been used by 2,500 companies since its launch in Aug. last year.

Owned and operated by Tokyo-headquartered Smart HR Inc., SmartHr automates employment procedures.

Rikunabi.com saw 14.2 million visitors in June compared to rivals Doda.jp with 9 million, Tenshoku.MyNavi.jp with 8.9 million, and Employment.En-Japan.com with 4.4 million, according to SimilarWeb.

En-Japan Inc. runs recruitment support and management services called Hire-Hub.io to help clients manage job applications coming from different channels like agents, recruitment media and corporate sites.

Those who haven’t introduced in-house applicant tracking systems are using third-party tools. Persol Career Co. Ltd., for example, offers recruitment support and management services RecLog and JobSuite. The latter also has an API agreement with SmartHr.
