Recruitment site Glassdoor has opened its first office in Canada, located in the country’s biggest city: Toronto.
Glassdoor’s Canadian site has been running for some time, and the company already has a large base of employer clients, including RBC, CIBC, Sun Life Financial, and Manulife, according to a company announcement.
“As we continue to experience one of the most dynamic and competitive job markets in recent history, we believe now is the right time for Glassdoor to put teams on the ground in Canada,” Christian Sutherland-Wong, Glassdoor president and CEO, stated.
Launched in the Bay Area in 2008, Glassdoor now has 10 offices worldwide, and web domains in 18 countries. Glassdoor is the number-two recruitment site in the U.S. after Indeed.com and counts more than 67 million monthly users worldwide.
