South Korean Internet firm Media Will Networks — which operates job, property and general marketplaces — has secured Korea-Information Security Management System certification, implying the company’s adherence to the highest professional standards to protect digital information assets.
Founded in 1990, Seoul-based Media Will owns and manages a comprehensive job-matching site at Alba.co.kr, a job board for instructors at Gangsa.com, and a job site for nurses at GanhoJob.com. Media Will also runs a property site at Serve.co.kr and a property flea market at Land.Findall.co.kr. It owns and operates the horizontal Findall.co.kr.
K-ISMS is a government-backed information security standard governed by the Korea Internet and Security Agency. Companies have to comply with more than 100 information security parameters to obtain the certificate.
