Japanese social recruiting site Wantedly has released the beta version of its new service “People Scout” that lets the corporate sector rate employees based on their abilities and prospects.

Users of business card management app Wantedly People can activate a setting to receive reviews from companies registered with empathy-building app Wantedly Visit.

Wantedly People converts physical business cards to digital versions by using artificial intelligence technology. The app has netted 3 million users and digitized more than 100 million cards since its launch. Wantedly Visit lets users talk and listen to the companies they care about.

People Scout is free to use for companies already enrolled for Wantedly’s paid services, with no limit on the number of scouts that can be sent.

Tokyo-based Wantedly has been running its simple notification service (SNS) since 2012. It’s also available in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Germany.

Other SNS jobs and social recruiting platforms in Japan include Digrow.jpI-MyRefer.jpCashU.jp, Career.Line.me, and FreeCracy.com.
