Boliga Gruppen has bought DinGeo.dk for DKK 2.9 million ($427,000). The group operates Boliga.dk, the leading independent Danish property marketplace, while the DinGeo offers the largest database of geodata in Denmark.
The site can be used to access all the available information relating to a specific property — including information about its surroundings. It carries detailed information about the bedrock, overall environment, and even the crime rates for specific neighborhoods. DinGeo sees around 380, 000 visited from all over Denmark each month.
The acquisition gives Boliga’s users quick and easy access to a treasure trove of information about properties they’re interested in. It also gives advertisers extended access to a large group of interested home-buyers, Boliga Group CEO Laust Farver said in a statement.
DinGeo incurred a small loss of DKK -102.795 ($15,000) in 2018 but Boliga doesn’t expect this to have a significant impact on its own report for FY2019. The company expects a turnover of DKK approx. 47-50 million, an operating profit (EBITDA) of DKK 3-5 million and a profit before tax of DKK 5-7 million.
