Techfynder, a new online IT recruitment website, has launched in Dublin. The launch was officially announced by Irish Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys TD.
Techfynder is the first dedicated platform that allows companies to connect with IT contractors and carry out every step of the recruiting process via a single portal. The website allows IT contractors to upload their skills, daily rates, experience, location, availability and length of contract, which Techfynder then matches to suitable companies. The service is free for contractors and subscription-based for IT companies.
The website was developed by Praveen Madire, CEO and founder of IT service provider Test Triangle. Test Triangle currently employ 74 people at their Dublin headquarters and has an estimated revenue of around $5.5 million U.S.
In late 2018, Madire met with European industry leaders in technology to discuss creating a single platform for all aspects of recruitment. “We identified a gap in the market, and got funding from Enterprise Ireland to set up a dedicated service for hiring IT contractors. We’ve spent about €1 million in total on the project to date,” said Madire.
The service, which is accessible via app or the website, is available now in the U.K. and Germany. The company hopes to launch in the United States in Jan. 2020 and will open an office in Austin, Texas. Further global expansion is also planned.
