Glassdoor, the international recruitment and employer-review site, has promoted two executives to lead the company’s product and sales divisions.
Annie Pearl (LinkedIn profile) was named chief product officer and will oversee Glassdoor’s product, user experience and design teams. The company also appointed her colleague Kate Ahlering (LinkedIn profile) as chief sales officer. In this role, Ahlering will oversee Glassdoor’s sales operations across 10 offices in seven countries.
“As Glassdoor continues our rapid expansion into new markets, Annie and Kate have been integral to building best-in-class global product/user-experience and sales teams,” said Christian Sutherland-Wong, Glassdoor’s president and chief operating officer.
Pearl was previously senior vice president and head of product and user experience and design at Glassdoor. Before Glassdoor, she led product teams at Box.com, a company that offers cloud-based document storage and management to organizations. She was also vice president of product and one of the founding members of Xpert Financial, a since-closed platform for trading private company securities.
Ahlering served in several sales leadership roles at Glassdoor, most recently as senior vice president of worldwide sales, which included new business acquisitions and account management. She previously held positions in sales leadership at ACTIVE Network, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider for organizing fundraising events at schools and non-profits.
