Pakistani real estate marketplace has launched a new tool, PlotFinder, which lets users find the exact size and dimensions of more than 1.2 million plots and housing units in major cities across the country. Currently, the map covers 38 cities and more than 2,500 major residential communities.

The company believes that the tool will help prospective buyers by eliminating offline visits, as they can now find essential details through the digital housing maps. Likewise, property agents can share satellite images with clients instead of relying on text messages to inform them about property locations.

Zameen plans to expand its coverage and property inventory across the country., which is owned by Dubai-based Emerging Markets Property Group (EMPG), began to focus on new property development projects to serve a market with a housing shortfall of more than 12 million units.

Naspers-owned general marketplace OLX Pakistan is also doubling down on its property vertical. As part of its regional strategy, OLX launched an off-plan property section, which lists new projects.
