Automotive vertical CarGurus has named Andrea Eldridge as its chief people officer. In the new role, Eldridge will oversee hiring and driving programs to ensure diversity, equity and leadership development.
Previously, Eldridge (LinkedIn profile) worked as senior vice president of talent and employee experience at Cengage Learning, an education and technology company. Before that, she held various leadership positions in talent and general management at Ahold USA, a global grocery retailer, and served in marketing roles at Digitas, a marketing and technology agency.
CarGurus is the most visited vehicle shopping site in the U.S. and employs nearly 1,000 people. Its headquarters are in Cambridge, Mass., with offices in Detroit, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dublin and London.
