PropertyGuru Group, an operator of property sites in Asia, has promoted Genevieve Godwin to chief human resources officer. In her new role, Godwin will be responsible for managing PropertyGuru’s 1,200 employees, as well as launching new initiatives to pursue fresh talent.

Godwin (LinkedIn profile) previously served as the company’s human resources director, overseeing employee growth and development in the five countries where PropertyGuru operates. Prior to joining Singapore-based PropertyGuru, Godwin served as a director of human resources for the Singapore offices of Telenor, J. Walter Thompson and Harris CapRock Communications.

“I am very excited to contribute to and continue shaping the unique culture at PropertyGuru,” Godwin said in a news release. “I look forward to supporting our Gurus development and experience, as we continue to drive excellence for PropertyGuru.”

PropertyGuru Group launched its flagship site,, in 2007. It has since expanded and operates property sites in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Last year, the company added Vietnam to its list of countries when it acquired BatDongSan from Dai Viet Group for an undisclosed sum.
