Polish media group Agora saw digital revenue grow 26.1% in the first quarter of 2020, the company reported.
Revenue from the division amounted to 47.4 million Polish zlotys ($11.8 million U.S.) in Q1 of FY2020 — up from 37.6 million zlotys in the same period last year. Most of this, 41.2 million zlotys, came from online advertising, which was 25.6% above the revenue in the same period last year.
Higher sales numbers at YieldBird, as well as the inclusion of HRLink in the division’s results, had the biggest impact on the segment’s revenue, the company said in its interim report.
Agora’s internet division pulled in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of 4.2 million zlotys ($1 million U.S.) in Q1 2020, an increase of more than 50% from 2.8 million zlotys in 2019.
Agora’s internet division includes job sites GoldenLine.pl and HRLink.pl, auto site Autotrader.pl, real estate site Domiporta.pl, programmatic-ad-optimizer YieldBird and performance-marketing agent Optimizers.
