Propzy.vn, a Vietnam-based real estate marketplace, has pulled in $25 million in a Series A funding round led by Gaw Capital and SoftBank Ventures Asia, the early-stage venture arm of SoftBank Group. Next Billion Ventures, RHL Ventures, Breeze, FEBE Ventures, RSquare and Insignia also participated in the round.
Propzy plans to use the funding to expand into its home country and across other South Asian markets over the next couple of years. The company currently employs around 400 people in 30 sales centers and plans to increase those numbers as part of the expansion.
The latest inflow brought Propzy’s total funding to $33 million. In June 2017, the company raised $2 million in venture capital, followed by $6 million in convertible notes in January 2019.
Propzy has been a cash-cow real estate asset for Frontier Digital Ventures (FDV), consistently showing impressive revenue growth. FDV sold a 20% stake in Propzy in February for a staggering 400% return.
