Sacks (LinkedIn profile) has over 25 years of experience as a technology entrepreneur, corporate director and consultant in the U.K., Europe, Australia and the U.S. He lead a range of businesses including startups, SMEs and blue-chip organizations in the design, delivery, management and growth of innovative digital products and services.

“I’m really excited to join the CV-Library team and to get to know everyone — albeit virtually right now!” said Sacks. “I believe my experience and passion for enabling businesses to successfully execute their digital strategy to achieve ambitious performance objectives will contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.”

CV-Library won the award for technical innovation at the 2020 OnRec Awards for the second year in a row. During the last 12 months, the company has launched a number of new technology products and services, including an auto-complete tool, a quick-apply feature, custom screening questions and video interviews for remote hiring.

“At CV-Library, our IT department plays a massive part in our success as a business,” said Lee Biggins, founder and CEO of CV-Library. “With Barry on board and under his leadership, I’m confident that the team will continue to thrive and help us push innovative new products that will help both candidates and recruiters during these challenging times.”

In January, CV-Library appointed Matthew Moore as MD, allowing Biggins to focus on developing its U.S. business, Resume-Library. Moore quickly followed by promoting two existing employees to head of finance and head of development in February.
