Job aggregator Jooble has purchased part of HotWork, a recruitment aggregator working in several post-Communist countries, for an undisclosed sum. Jooble, the No. 2 job aggregator in the world, bought HotWork’s operations in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine.

The deal is estimated to be worth around $30,000. Monthly traffic to the four sites, HotWork.by, HotWork.kz, HotWork.ru and HotWork.com.ua, was less than 300K in May, according to SimilarWeb.

HotWork has been looking for a buyer for more than a year. The company’s revenue has dropped year-on-year since 2017, dipping below $100,000 in 2018 and 2019, according to Ukrainian business magazine Ain.ua.

Following the sale, employees at HotWork will be repositioned to concentrate on JetOctopus, its search engine optimization tool.
