In Poland, EduLAB EdTech Accellerator and the state-owned National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) have invested 1 million Polish zlotys ($252,000 U.S.) in recruitment startup Jobllegro.com.

The site lets recruiters search its catalog of university graduates and then recommend candidates to employers. The investment will let the company transform into a site combining features of a job board and a career office.

Jobllegro plans to develop a big data and machine learning-based recommendation engine to match candidates with recruiters. The system will focus on assessing the intellectual potential, skills and needs of a given candidate using AI.

The site will also support students and graduates in outlining their career paths using cooperating mentors and external experts.

Joballegro was founded by Dariusz Rochman (LinkedIn profile), an HR exec who previously held managerial roles at Jobme and Work Service. The startup currently employs 5 staff.
