Martin Herbst, the former EBay Asia-Pacific GM, has been appointed CEO of leading Australia-based applicant tracking system (ATS) JobAdder.
Herbst (LinkedIn profile) replaces JobAdder’s outgoing founder and CEO, Brett Iredale, who is leaving the business to spend more time with his family.
“JobAdder is on an exciting growth trajectory and we are thrilled to announce the appointment of Martin Herbst as the new CEO,” Iredale wrote in a LinkedIn post.
As EBay’s Asia-Pacific GM, Herbst led Gumtree Australia’s push into automotive, overseeing its recent acquisition of the former Cox Automotive assets AutoTrader and CarsGuide. He exited the business after 13 years last December.
JobAdder, which is 60% owned by recruitment giant Seek, was founded in 2007 and has since grown into a leading ATS in Australia.
