Prosus-backed OLX.pl has teamed up with Adyen, a global payments technology provider, to launch online payments.

Online payments will be available for products and services with a delivery option. The horizontal will also introduce a buyer protection service, which allows buyers to receive compensation of up to PLN200 ($54 U.S.) if the purchased product doesn’t measure up to the listing.

Adyen is a Dutch payment company that lets businesses accept e-commerce, mobile and point-of-sale payment. The company’s payment technology is used by eBay.com, Booking.com and Uber.

OLX.pl is the largest general classifieds site in Poland. In June, it received a total of 117.2 million visits to its web and mobile sites, according to SimilarWeb.
