Grupa Pracuj has laid off 8% of its workforce in Poland and 30% in Ukraine, according to a report from WirtualneMedia.

The company has decided not to reduce wages for most employees and will also pay employees all bonuses for the past six months. Management will see their salaries reduced by 20-25% compared to pre-Covid earnings.

Grupa Pracuj has also reduced marketing costs and invested in automation tools. Its recruitment site, Pracuj.pl, currently saw new listings drop around 10-15% year-on-year, according to WirtualneMedia.

Grupa Pracuj employed 892 people in 2019. It saw revenue of PLN367.5 million ($97.2 million U.S.) in FY2019, up from PLN 327.2 million  in FY2018.

The company owns Poland’s largest jobs site Pracuj.pl, the applicant tracking system eRecruiter and leading Ukrainian jobs site Rabota.ua.
