Shpock, the Adevinta-owned mobile-first horizontal, has rebranded to emphasize its recently-introduced transactional business model.

The rebranding reflects the transformation of Shpock from a classifieds board to a transactional marketplace, according to a news statement. Last year, the marketplace re-launched in the U.K. as transactional site.

Founded in 2012, Shpock operates across Europe. Its app has been downloaded more than 50 million times.

The horizontal has rolled out a score of new transaction-related services, including buyer protection, shipping and online payments.

Esteve Jané, the CEO of Shpock, said the new brand has a bold new font to depict “the joy of selling.”

“Our vision for Shpock is to create a fast, safe, and trusted marketplace, and with our all-new look, we can communicate what makes Shpock so special,” said Jané.
