Prosus-owned OLX Poland now owns 100% of blue-collar recruitment app Kiwi Jobs. The company purchased the remaining shares from Kiwi Jobs’s founders for an undisclosed amount, WirtualneMedia reported.
OLX Poland acquired a majority stake in Kiwi Jobs last year. The horizontal planned to use Kiwi Jobs to strengthen its position in the blue-collar recruitment segment.
OLX Group will integrate the employees from Kiwi Jobs into OLX’s jobs division. Kiwi Jobs’s technology will be used to launch new subscription services for OLX Jobs users.
Kiwi Jobs was founded by Absolvent Group in 2017. It attracts candidates by guaranteeing an answer from employers within 48 hours of their application. It also offers standardized descriptions of job offers, which includes information like the location of the work, contract type and pay rate.
Kiwi Jobs employs several dozen employees, mainly in the product technology and sales departments, according to WirtualneMedia.
In 2018, OLX.pl repositioned its jobs category as a place to find both white and blue-collar jobs. Recently, the portal launched candidate profiles that job seekers can use to apply for positions on the site. The company is also rolling out job matching technology that it says will connect job seekers with relevant listings.
OLX.pl is the largest general classifieds site in Poland. In June, it received a total of 117.2 million visits to its web and mobile sites, according to SimilarWeb.
