Greek real estate marketplace Spitogatos.gr has acquired 60% of Slovenian property site Nepremicnine.net, according to local media reports. No financial details were disclosed.

Nepremicnine.net was founded in 2000. It also runs a real estate site Novogradnje.si. Nepremicnine has 32,000 listings and more than 500 real estate agents. In August, Nepremicnine.net saw 2.5 million visitors, according to SimilarWeb.

The acquisition is part of Spitogatos.gr’s ambition to expand further into Southern Europe and strengthen international network under its Indomio brand that is present in 12 countries.

Indomio also runs real estate marketplace Immobiliare.it in Italy.

“Two years ago we started Indomio in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia to offer an easily recognizable brand in all these countries based on a common technology,” said Dimitris Melachroinos, the CEO of Spitogatos.gr. “The cooperation with the Nepremicnine.net team is part of this strategic plan.”
