Kwaku Agbesi, the former Roam Jobs leader, has been appointed as CEO of Jobberman Ghana.

The move comes after a series of reshufflings at Jobberman’s parent company, Ringier One Africa Media (Roam).

Jobberman Nigeria CEO Hilda Kragha recently became the head of Roam’s job portfolio, which includes East Africa-focused BrighterMonday and West Africa-based Jobberman.

Agbesi (LinkedIn profile), an experienced Ghanaian executive, will focus on growing the jobs site’s brand equity in his home country. He previously held sales and marketing roles at Google, General Electric and Apple.

His expertise in sales and marketing is crucial to Jobberman Ghana’s goal of growing its employer customer base, and part of a move to increase market adoption across the continent in addition to his plans of revolutionising the jobs space in Ghana.

Jobberman was established in Ghana in 2012 as an offshoot of Jobberman Nigeria. In 2016, Ringier Africa acquired the properties in a merger deal with One Africa Media. Jobberman Ghana is the leading recruitment site in its market.
