Uxin has launched a rating system for used cars on its platform. The new tool is part of its move toward fully-online, consumer-facing transactions.
The system assesses and assigns a rating to used vehicles based on a variety of factors. The company says that it uses years of data from listings on its platform to create the ratings.
“With the help of our rating system that grades a used car’s condition compared with a brand new one, we have been able to upgrade the buying experience for users of our platform by creating a more intuitive sense of the quality of the car that they are getting for the money,” said Kun Dai, the company’s founder and CEO.
Uxin also said it had hired a team of vehicle experts to select featured vehicles to be displayed alongside listings.
