ZipRecruiter announced two c-suite appointments this week, naming Boris Shimanovsky (LinkedIn profile) as chief technology officer (CTO) and Renata Dionello (LinkedIn profile) as chief people officer (CPO).
Shimanovsky has 10 years experience in tech leadership, most recently as senior vice president of engineering at Foursquare after its merger with Factual, where he served as CTO. At ZipRecruiter, Shimanovsky will focus on growing teams of engineers and data scientists in the U.S. and Israel.
Dionello most recently led corporate development globally for Sony Playstation. Before that, she served as senior director and head of planning and strategic initiatives for EBay Marketplaces. She has also held senior roles at PayPal, the Walt Disney Company and Universal Music Group. At ZipRecruiter, she will oversee human relations across the company’s global operations.
“Boris and Renata bring world-class experience from multi-billion dollar companies that will be instrumental in guiding the company through its next growth phase,” said ZipRecruiter CEO Ian Siegel.
ZipRecruiter, the No. 3 U.S. jobs platform in terms of traffic, is lately rebuilding after laying off more than a third of its staff in the early stage of the pandemic. This week the company had 104 open positions, mostly in engineering roles.
