Louise Grant, has stepped down from her role as CEO of JobG8 after 12 years at the company.

JobG8 hosts two important recruitment marketplace conferences, one in the U.S. and one in the U.K. They bring together hundreds of recruitment and jobs vertical experts to share insights on hiring trends.

In a LinkedIn post Grant announced her decision and paid tribute to the people she has met organizing and hosting the JobG8 summits.

“The Job Board industry really is full of some great people who have been an absolute pleasure,” she wrote. “So farewell for now, it’s time for me to take a short pause.”

This year’s North America JobG8 summit was set to take place in San Diego in June but was then postponed until 2021. It has now been rescheduled for May 18-19, 2022 and will be held at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.

The JobG8 event in London, originally planned for November, was also postponed for a year and is now scheduled for November 2021. Last year’s event highlighted the role technology plays in disrupting the recruitment sector.
