OLX Group-owned Otomoto.pl, the No.1 auto vertical in Poland, has launched a new automotive news site called Motopedia.Otodom.pl.

The site hosts auto news, rankings and tests and video content produced by Otomoto TV. The editor-in-chief of Motopedia, Juliusz Szalek, is an experienced automotive journalist. Marcin Domagała is responsible for the content production activities of Otomoto TV.

The site launch will be supported with an advertising campaign carried out on OLX Group’s sites, including Otomoto.pl, OLX.pl and 321sprzedane.pl.

Otomoto is the largest auto site in Poland. It received 42.9 million visits in October and is far ahead of other major auto sites in Poland, in terms of traffic. These include Abris Capital Partners’ Aaaauto.pl with 605,020 visits and Auto Centrum’s Autotrader.pl with 205,009 visits, according to SimilarWeb.
