Kuntz started at CareerBuilder in 2004 as a national account representative and finished his tenure in January as VP of software sales. For a time, he served at CareerBuilder subsidiary Broadbean Technology as chief revenue officer.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ben to help Jobcase grow our business and create opportunities for workers and organizations,” Jobcase CEO Fred Goff wrote in the hiring announcement. “He has a successful history of strong employer and industry partnerships, and inspiring sales teams to rapid growth.”

Founded in 2015, Jobcase is a social media platform that “develops technology to help more than 110 million registered members lead better, more meaningful work-lives,” according to the firm’s announcement.

Jobcase has raised a total of $148.9 million in funding, according to Crunchbase. Most recently, it closed a $30 million round last summer led by Providence Strategic Growth

After that round, Providence and Workday Ventures shared controlling ownership of Jobcase with a third investor, Savano Capital Partners.

During the pandemic, Jobcase has focused on recruitment services for essential employees — including delivery drivers, healthcare staff and grocery workers.
