Blocket will appoint Hanna Lindqvist as its new CTO. Starting May 1, she will be responsible for leading the Schibsted-owned Swedish horizontal’s technology team. She will also gain a spot on Blocket’s management board.
“What attracted me to Blocket was the chance to be part of a very exciting growth journey and contribute to the positive impact Blocket has on the planet and society,” Lindqvist said.
Lindqvist was poached from Zettle, a Swedish payment solution tech company owned by PayPal. At Zettle, she was a product and development manager.
Prior to Zettle, Lindqvist engineered the IT transformation for Svenska Spel (the Swedish national lottery) following its deregulation. She has also led the tech department at Teracom and Teliasonera.
