OLX Ukraine, the country’s largest horizontal, has teamed up with Ukraine’s national postal carrier, Ukrposhta, to offer delivery.
The service will be free for the month of March. Starting in April, the service will be available for a flat rate, regardless of size or destination.
“In 2020 alone, the number of OLX Delivery users increased by 90%, to 300,000 deals monthly,” said Ekaterina Onischenko, Chief Executive Manager of OLX Ukraine and Central Asia. “This confirms that Ukrainians are ready to pay online.”
Ukrposhta guarantees three-day delivery anywhere in the Ukraine, with two-day shipping available for inter-regional deliveries. The company has 11,700 branches across Ukraine, more than twice that of its closest competitor, Nova Poshta.
“With OLX, we open up the access to 10 million Ukrainians living all over the country,” said Ukrposhta’s CEO, Igor Smilyanskyi.
