Polish media group Agora SA saw digital revenue increase by 2.3% while EBITDA surged by 56.1% year-on-year in FY2020.
Revenue from Agora’s Internet division amounted to 77.8 million Polish zlotys ($20 million U.S.) in Q4 of FY2020 — up from 74.7 million Polish zlotys in the same period in FY2019.
Agora’s digital revenue in FY2020 amounted to 213.9 million Polish zlotys ($55.2 million U.S.) — up from 209 million Polish zlotys in FY2019.
The Agora Internet division saw earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) come to 45.1 million Polish zlotys ($11.6 million U.S.) in FY2020 — up from 28.9 million Polish zlotys in Q3 last year.
The sale of part of Domiporta’s business, which operates real estate site Domiporta.pl and auto site Autotrader.pl, had the biggest impact on the segment’s revenue, the company said in its interim report.
Agora’s internet division includes news site Gazeta.pl, job sites GoldenLine.pl and HRLink.pl, Plan D (formerly Domiporta), programmatic-ad-optimizer YieldBird, and performance-marketing agent Optimizers.
