In Poland, second-hand stuff app Less has tied up with Adyen, a global payments technology provider, to launch online payments.

Adyen will provide online payments for Less based on its Adyen for Platforms product. It provides a quick and safe transaction using the most popular payment methods and a guarantee of receiving the product thanks to using the Escrow model.

The online payments with Adyen will be available for Less users free of charge. The marketplace will also introduce a buyer protection service, which allows buyers to receive their money back if the purchased product doesn’t measure up to the listing.

Less marketplace is available for mobile devices with Android and iOS operating systems, as well as through the website. It includes listings in the following categories: clothing and accessories, toys, beauty and health, sports equipment, books, electronics, and games and accessories. The marketplace boasts to have over 700,000 active users.

Adyen is a Dutch payment company that lets businesses accept e-commerce, mobile and point-of-sale payment. The company’s payment technology is used by, and Uber.
