Russia’s leading marketplaces, including horizontal leader Avito.ru, leading auto marketplace Auto.ru and the dominant job marketplace, will now be connected to GosUslugi, the state-run digital system of identification and authentication. This is expected to pave the way for faster documentation processes and enable a greater proportion of transactions to be handled entirely online.
Authorization via GosUslugi will be available from July. Users will be able to use their e-signatures to finalise car purchases and gain access to digital documents. Authorization through GosUslugi is optional, and other authorization methods will remain in use. The Russian Ministry of Digitalization has assured that no private data will be collected from activities on the sites.
HeadHunter, for example, plans to use GosUslugi as a tool for users to access labor agreements and employment records. This will simplify the way employers and employees share information.
