U.S.-based recruitment startup Canvas.com, formerly JumpStart, has raised $20 million in a Series B funding round led by VC firm Sequoia Capital and Lachy Groom, according to an announcement. Boutique private equity firm Four Rivers Capital also participated in the round.
Founded in 2017, diversity recruiting site Canvas said that 56% of all employees hired through the site are members of underrepresented groups. The startup expects to have 100 employees by the end of the year compared to 70 at present.
Canvas has raised $32.7 million in its five funding rounds, according to Crunchbase. The U.S. employer review site Glassdoor last year introduced diversity ratings as diversity-led recruitment verticals have seen a spike in funding and audiences.
