Finland-based media and marketplace operator Alma Media has sold its construction and housing ERP system Talosofta to Lemonsoft for an undisclosed amount. The transaction will be effective from July 2021.

Talosofta is a web-based ERP system for small and medium-sized construction, renovation and technical building service industry operators with revenue of approximately $1.2 million U.S. in 2020.

Alma Media decided to sell Talosofta as it is no longer at the core of its operations. The company now focuses on digital marketplaces in the housing and automotive sectors, comparison services and media, said Kari Kivelä, SVP of Alma Consumer division, in a news release announcing the transaction.

Alma Consumer includes the multi-channel news and lifestyle media Iltalehti, real estate vertical, rental site, and the automotive marketplace The segment also houses Alma Media’s comparison services, including Autojerry, Urakkamaailma and Etua, as well as Nettix’s marketplaces acquired in March.

Alma Media focuses on digital services and publishing. The company’s headquarters is in Finland, but it also operates in other Nordic countries, the Baltics, and Central Europe. It’s listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
