LeasingMarkt.de, one of the largest marketplaces for car leasing in Germany, has expanded to Austria, marking another milestone for the company which is part of the AutoScout24 Group.
Following the takeover of Austrian leasing platform Autoleasen.at in March, the company has now launched the website LeasingMarkt.at. Users of Autoleasen.at will automatically be redirected to LeasingMarkt.at. The company said the new website will be more user-friendly and offer new functions for car dealers.
“We are very proud that we are now also offering the concept of our online marketplace in Austria,” said Robin Tschöpe, co-CEO of LeasingMarkt.de. “In the last few weeks, we have been working flat out on the implementation and now want to serve the increasing demand for leasing vehicles together with the Austrian automotive trade. In Austria, too, our focus is on making the leasing market more transparent and clear.”
Last year, AutoScout24 Group acquired a majority stake in LeasingMarkt.de which was founded in 2012 and offers both private and commercial car leasing options. It launched its Swiss site, LeasingMarkt.ch, in 2018. LeasingMarkt.at’s launch adds another pillar to AutoScout24’s portfolio in Austria, where the group also operates car portals gebrauchtwagen.at and autoscout24.at.
