Grupa Pracuj has acquired a minority stake in the employee wellbeing platform WorkSmile for an undisclosed amount.

WorkSmile helps employers consolidate and digitize benefit policy management processes, improve internal communication, and motivate employees to care for physical and mental health. The company was founded in 2016, operating under the FitQbe brand until 2020.

The investment will let WorkSmile achieve its strategic goals related to technological and product development. Grupa Pracuj also plans further capital and operational support for WorkSile in the future, according to a report on news site WirtualneMedia.

Grupa Pracuj is also involved in WorkSmile through its venture capital fund Pracuj Ventures, which invested in the startup last year.

Pracuj Ventures was launched in May 2019 to invest in HR and education-related startups. Funds available to the fund come from Grupa Pracuj, some of its shareholders and managing partners of Pracuj Ventures.

Grupa Pracuj operates Pracuj.pl — the most popular job site in Poland. It also owns applicant tracking system ERecruiter, programming school Coders Lab, and leading Ukrainian recruitment platform Rabota.ua.
