Turkey-based horizontal LetGo, a part of OLX Group, has appointed Selin Suzer its first chief marketing officer.
Suzer (LinkedIn profile) has more than 10 years of marketing experience working in retail, consumer and financial services.
Prior to joining LetGo, she built and led a team focusing on portfolio management, pricing and merchandising for Oriflame Cosmetics in Turkey and Africa.
Suzer spent two years as marketing director of a commercial bank BBVA in the U.S.. Previously, she was McDonald’s marketing manager in Turkey. She started her career at Protector and Gamble, where she took on various rules during her five year tenure, including assistant brand manager, shopper marketing brand manager and regional brand manager.
Suzer received an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
Founded in 2016, LetGo shut down all of its main markets except in Turkey following a $120 million deal with mobile-first c-to-c marketplace OfferUp last year.
