Australia-based rectech startup Compono has acquired multi-channel job posting service Idibu for an undisclosed sum.

Founded in 2007, Idibu cross-posts job openings with a network of recruitment marketplaces, niche job boards, aggregators and social media, including Adzuna, CareerBuilder, Circa (LocalJobNetwork), DigitalMediaJobs, Zoek and ZipRecruiter. It also enables recruiters and employers to manage their workforces through CRM systems.

With more than 300 clients, the Spain-headquartered Idibu also has an office in the U.K..

The acquisition will enable Compono to introduce its candidate-shortlisting and ranking product across EMEA, according to a blog post.

Compono, created a decade after Idibu, has so far focused on APAC in providing services to help in decision-making across the employee life cycle.

“The acquisition is a win-win for both parties–almost instantly opening up new market access and expansion of our full suite of products across the world,” said Carl Hartmann, chairman and co-founder of Compono.
