Wirtualna Polska Holding (WP), the Polish media group, saw revenue for its online segment increase 53.9% while adjusted earnings (EBITDA) surged by 70.3% in the first half of 2021.
The company earned PLN 383.9 million ($98.8 million U.S.) from online businesses in H1, up from PLN 249.4 million in the same period last year. Its adjusted EBITDA was PLN 137.4 million ($35.3 million U.S.).
WP’s online portfolio includes AutoCentrum.pl, new-car sales offer aggregator Superauto24.com and rentals site Nocowanie.pl. The company also lists real estate announcements from Morizon.pl on its news site, WP.pl.
Other businesses from WP’s online segment include holiday accomodation sites Wakacje.pl and eHoliday.pl, fashion stores Domodi.pl and Allani.pl, interior and home design sites Homebook.pl and Extradom.pl, and financial services comparison site TotalMoney.pl.
