Damian Zapłata, who has been chief commercial officer and board member at Allegro since October 2017, has left the company.
In his resignation, Zapłata (LinkedIn profile) said that almost a year after the successful initial public offering of the company he decided that he had fulfilled his mission at Allegro.pl and it was the right moment to step down and take up new professional challenges.
His duties have been taken over by Aleksandra Sroka-Krzyżak, a strategy director at Allegro. However, the company will look for a new person for the position of the commercial team head, according to a report on news site Cashless.pl.
