Conlon joined the REA Group board in 2007 and served in a number of roles, including chair of the human resources committee and as a member of the audit, risk and compliance committee.

REA Group said a search is underway for Conlon’s replacement. “An announcement will be made once that process has been completed.”

Conlon was a partner and director at management consultants The Boston Consulting Group for 19 years and served on the board of a number of Australian companies in the resources industry, including CSR, Lynas Rare Earths and, more recently, Bluescope.

REA Group chair Hamish McLennan thanked Conlon for her “commitment and contribution” to the business for the last 14 years. “Her support and counsel have been greatly valued and we wish her well for the future,” he said.
