Bangladesh-based horizontal Bikroy.com has appointed Sazzadul Islam Fahmy as its marketplace director.
Islam has more than 15 years of experience in logistics and ecommerce fulfilment, according to his LinkedIn profile. He has held various leadership roles in sales and marketing.
His most recent position was general manager of sales and marketing at logistics business PaperFly. He also worked as COO at Formosa Logistics Limited, head of business, growth & national operations at Biddyut Limited and head of sales at UPS.
Islam began his career at logistics company Expolanka Group. With a major in HRM and operation management, he completed his MBA at the American International University, Bangladesh, in 2011.
Of his appointment, he said, “I am delighted to share that I have joined Bikroy.com as marketplace director for the next phase of my professional journey. I am super elated to begin this chapter and I am so thrilled to be embarking upon this new adventure.”
