Cox Automotive has appointed Lee Fox as MD for Cox Automotive Vehicle Solutions (CAVS) as it strengthens its leadership team in Europe.

Fox joined this week and takes overall responsibility for CAVS operations and finance, including for Manheim Vehicle Service, Manheim Inspection Services and Movex. He joins from GEFCO, where he spent 17 years. His most recent role was UK 4PL director in charge of all vehicle and material flows from its main customer Stellantis.

He will report to Pete Bell, Cox Automotive Europe’s COO and take a place on the company’s European board.

Fox has deep experience in leading and developing big operational teams, working with partners and suppliers and managing important corporate client relationships.

“This is a key appointment for Cox Automotive Europe and Lee’s expertise and experience will be an integral part in helping us achieve our European vision,” said Bell.

“Lee will be focusing on ensuring we deliver exceptional service to customers and achieving significant efficiencies through increasing both the scale and breadth of our vehicle solutions capabilities.”

Cox Automotive has recently launched a global mobility division to harness its expertise in fleet logistics, vehicle lifecycle management and EV batteries. The company said its vehicle solutions business has grown significantly since it acquired C Walton in 2020. Manheim Vehicle Services has announced several new contracts with Volkswagen Financial Services and Volkswagen Group U.K. linked to its extended vehicle services capabilities.

“Cox Automotive Vehicle Solutions is growing, and I hope to play my part in laying the foundations with customers and developing our capabilities for further growth,” said Fox.
