Just a few weeks after raising BRL 500 million ($96 million US) in an investment round led by SoftBank, Brazilian-based ATS Gupy bought its former rival, Kenoby, for an undisclosed amount.

Gupy, which had raised the biggest investment in recruitment in Latin America, said on a LinkedIn post the acquisition of Kenoby “consolidates” its leadership in the digital recruitment business in Brazil.

Kenoby is now Gupy, says Kenoby on its website

Gupy gained traction and surpassed long-established ATS Vagas.com.br in terms of trafic. Vagas used to lead the ATS business in terms of traffic in Brazil. Vagas.com.br, which operates as an ATS business, also has a jobs board.

Both Kenoby and Gupy transformed recruitment in Brazil, Gupy said.

Together, both companies help companies hire over 1.2 million candidates in over 2,300 companies.
