U.K.-based online digital dealer Cazoo has appointed Tommaso Debenedetti as its new country manager for Italy.
Debenedetti (LinkedIn profile) joins the car retail company with an international background and digital experience from his time working as director of Amazon Spain and Italy since 2015. He previously co-founded Intervieweb.com, which was sold in 2019 to the Zucchetti Group.
Previously, he was an associate partner at McKinsey & Company in Italy and also worked in China and Australia, where he built digitization and transformation programs for European high-tech players.
Tommaso will join the European leadership team and report to Abhishek Roy, European managing director of Cazoo. He will be responsible for the growth of the team and business in Italy during the European expansion of Cazoo after its recent acquisition of brumbrum.
