Leading real estate marketplace PropertyGuru Group Ltd announced that Shyn Yee Ho-Strangas will take over as managing director for its data and software solutions (DSS) business.

Shyn Yee Ho-Strangas (LinkedIn profile) will be in charge of driving the vision, strategy, and execution of innovative and DSS, focusing on enterprise customers in the real estate industry. Reporting to CEO and managing director Hari V Krishnan, she will lead the charge to recognise and optimize opportunities in order to reach PropertyGuru’s goal of creating trust in the Southeast Asia property sector.

Ho-Strangas comes to PropertyGuru after serving as the director of Global Product Management at travel company Expedia Group for more than eight years, in addition to four years of experience at Horwath HTL, one of the largest consulting organizations specializing in the hospitality industry.

This recent appointment follows new trading on the New York Stock Exchange on March 18 under the ticker “PGRU.” The IPO was made possible following a merger with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) backed by Richard Li and Peter Thiel. The equity value of the new entity was $1.6 billion U.S.
