Italian proptech classified Wikicasa.it, which is owned by the four main Italian real estate groups, Gabetti, Tecnocasa, Re/Max and Tempocasa, has closed a €3 million ($3.3 million U.S.) collection round to accelerate its growth.

The investment comes after the recent purchase of Casaclick.it, a digital real estate marketplace owned by Prelios, and aims to strengthen the positioning of Wikicasa as a system for sector professionals and the development of digital services for end-users. Wikicasa aims to provide a higher level of quality and transparency with digital information while facilitating sales and leases.

In 2021, about 13 million unique users visited Wikicasa to search for a property for sale or rent. The classified expects to double its workforce in the next 18 months to accompany the double-digit growth in revenues and market share, bringing on business analysts, data scientists and front-end and back-end and mobile developers to join more than 40 employees who already operate in the Milan and Genoa offices. The average age of a Casawiki employee is 27.
